.John Gorka - You Can Run

 

 


..Dave his version of "You Can Run" is on a cassette tape and hasn't been digitalized yet. But on May 31, 2020 Dave Fry recorded his newest version of "You can Run" and he wrote to me: "Jos, I will still try to find the original. Funny, it came back pretty fast after 40 years."

 

 

 

  



It's a song by John's friend Doug Anderson from the Razzy Dazzy Spasm Band days. Dave Fry has recorded the song. This is the first time John did it.

.Doug Anderson - You can Run

I asked Dough for a MP3 of his version of You Can Run and he answered at the end of May 2020: : "Hi Jos, I never recorded the song...it was one I wrote many years ago and John used to sing it with The Razzy Dazzy Spasm Band. I'll probably play it again after this."


In September 2020 Doug recorded "You can Run" for the first time (after 40 years!) for this website. Thanks Doug.
