From Last
night Red Horse’s Eliza Gilkyson, John Gorka, and Lucy Kaplansky
wooed a packed house on the Oval Lawn with their sweet harmonies.
For this fifth show of our summer music series, the folk super-group
|
entertained fans from across the country with songs from their first release, Red Horse. Each member took turns at the mic to perform classics from his or her solo career, including Eliza Gilkyson’s Sanctuary and Lucy Kaplansky’s Don’t Mind Me. The intimate evening ended with a tender rendition of Curtis Mayfield’s People Get Ready. |
